Translated as ‘Valley of Gods’, Har Ki Dun trek takes you through a wilderness of alpine meadows and pine forests. It’s one of those rare treks that is equally magical during summer and winter. A fun fact – the Pandavas are said to have taken this route to ascend to heaven.

Pick up from Dehradun Railway Station
Arrive Sankri in the evening

Sankri to Taluka to Puani Garaat
12 kms, 1 Hour to Taluka. 13kms, 8 Hrs to Puani Garaat
- Day 3
Puani Garaat to Kalkatiyadhar
7 kms, 5-6 Hrs
- Kalkatiyadhar to Har Ki Dun (11,768 ft);
4 km, 5 hours
Day 5
Har ki Dun to Puani Garaat
11 kms, 9-10 Hrs
- Day 6
Puani Garaat to Taluka to Sankri
13 kms trek, 12 kms by road in a vehicle, 8-9 Hrs

Sankri to Dehradun

Terms & Conditions
Stay: Stay at Dehradun on the last day of the trek is not included in the trek fee.
2. Transport: Transport from Dehradun to Sankri and return from Sankri to Dehradun can be arranged by us at an extra cost. Transport is arranged in Sumo kind of vehicles. A vehicle carries 5-7 people. Sometimes the number of people in a vehicle can be even 4 or 8. Participants are expected to share the cost likewise. The amount is to be paid directly to our transporter. No service tax is applicable on transport cost. Roads & Journeys only arranges the vehicle pick up and is not responsible for any issues during transport.
3. Pick-up: Participants are picked up from the Dehradun Railway Station. Pickups from the station start from 6.00 am. Most participants opt for the Roads & Journeys pick up and we assume the same in your case. In case you do not want the Roads & Journeys pick up you will have to make your own travel arrangements.
